When the big brands dare to produce in France
If there is one product category that Asian manufacturers are very happy with, it is the one of sports shoes. Some models of high-end sneakers are certainly produced in Italy, Great Britain or France, but this production is marginal, because it is ten times more expensive. Some, however, like Decathlon with its Traxium Compressor soccer shoe, are resisting and are producing in France: in Gétigné, near Nantes, by the industrial DEMGY.
