Normandy sees itself as a leader in plastic recycling.
The plastics industry is undergoing a transformation with the development of material recycling. This movement is taking root sustainably in Normandy with the arrival of companies such as the American company Eastman in Port-Jérôme-sur-Seine, Seine-Maritime, and the Belgian company Futerro with its biorefinery project, as well as the French company Skytech, which has chosen to establish its headquarters in Val d'Hazey, Eure. These companies are establishing themselves to benefit from an already efficient ecosystem in terms of recycling.
