At the Eurosatory international defense show, DEMGY presented its new parcel bomb neutralization device - Dorothée Brimont / PND Contrary to its performance, DEMGY's new box doesn't look like much. A simple plastic box with a blue sheath inside. In short, nothing to write home about.
Yet the powers of this box are unsuspected. It can disintegrate a bomb, no less! "It can be used to neutralize a suspicious package in a confined area. That's the main difference with other existing devices," explains Jean-Luc Rabiller, DEMGY's business manager. "The box is filled with water. It is then installed close to the booby-trapped package.
