Demgy Atlantique co-designs a recycled sole for Decathlon.
DEMGY Atlantique has developed, for Decathlon, a sole made by compressing waste TPU from running hydration packs.
Decathlon has sought DEMGY's expertise in polymer and composite transformation. DEMGY's thermocompression press enables the production of the shoe's outsole using waste material consisting of 70% recycled TPU, primarily sourced from Decathlon's running hydration packs, with other recyclable materials also being incorporated.
