KITPIC®: DEMGY's sustainable innovation in the spotlight at the Medi'Nov Connection 2025 exhibition
DEMGY confirms its role as a pioneer in sustainable development with KITPIC®, a “prick-test” lancet designed in collaboration with Allerclear. This medical device, which combines high precision and eco-design, was highlighted in the Innovation Showcase of the Medi'Nov Connection 2025 exhibition, an unmissable event for professionals in the medical sector.
An eco-designed lancet to promote health
The development of KITPIC® is based on a dual commitment: to optimize the performance of allergy tests while reducing their environmental impact. Made of Rilsan® from Arkema, a bio-based polymer derived from castor oil, this lancet is distinguished by:
- A 70% reduction in material weight, thus limiting the consumption of resources;
- An ergonomic design, improving the handling and reproducibility of the tests:
- Single-material packaging, designed to facilitate recycling and reduce medical waste.
Thanks to DEMGY Frasne's expertise in micro-injection processes, KITPIC® offers optimal precision and meets the requirements of strict medical environments.
Recognition in the Innovation Showcase
To have been selected for the Innovation Showcase of Medi'Nov Connection 2025 is a real recognition for KITPIC®. This spotlight highlights its potential to transform medical practices by offering a more responsible and sustainable alternative to traditional lancets.
This presence at the exhibition allowed DEMGY and Allerclear to interact with professionals in the sector and demonstrate how technological innovation and environmental commitment can go hand in hand.
